Acceptance of New UPV Members

The community of the St. Hannibal Rogate Center in Paranaque City (Philippines) welcomed 21 new members of the Union of Prayer for Vocations. Fr. Dexter Prudenciano, RCJ, Vicar Provincial of St. Matthew Province, presided over the Mass and the Rite of Entrance of members. Fr. Jessie Martirizar, Superior of the community, with the postulants, witnessed the simple, yet solemn event at the community chapel on March 10, 2019. Thanks for the formation courses and other preparations facilitated by Fr. Joseph Arcaño, RCJ, in collaboration with the senior members of the UPV.

Benefit Concert for the Seminary in Cebu

The Rogationist Seminary- Cebu held a two-hour concert for a cause entitled "LIFT UP YOUR HEARTS" to gather funds for the renovation of the seminary building. The building, whose construction was completed in 1990, has served as the House of Formation of generations of  Rogationist Religious and Priests coming from the Visayas and Mindanao Regions. The 29 year-old building that has suffered due to natural calamities like typhoons and earthquakes in the past, needs repair and maintenance.

St. Matthew Province Formators' Annual Meeting

Formators of St. Matthew Province gathered on February 22-23, 2019, at the Oasis of Prayer in Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite for their annual meeting organized by the Commission on the Religious Life, Formation and Vocation Ministry, chaired by Fr. Ariel Tecson, RCJ, the Provincial Councilor of the Sector. The main objective of this year's meeting is to discern, discuss and decide on some urgent concerns affecting issues on formation, particularly on the curriculum of studies. 400 youths at Vocation Camp

The Rogationist Seminary in Cebu (Philippines) welcomed around 400 youths for an overnight Youth Vocation Camp on February 16-17, 2019. The Vocation Camp is an annual initiative of the Seminary, but this year takes as special dimension because of the recent Synod of Bishops on the Youth, Faith and Vocation Discernment, as well as the celebration of the World Youth Day in Panama.

On December 16, 2018, at the Chapel of the St. Anthony's Boys Village, Cavite, Philippines, Nov. Gabriel Motol, Jr. made his First Profession of the Vows, after an experience of a year and a half in the Novitiate. Within the same Eucharistic Liturgy presided over by Fr. Orville Cajigal, the Provincial Superior of the St. Matthew Province, Ms. Ma. Cecilia De Castro renewed her vows as a member of the  Missionaries of the Rogate (Missionarie Rogazioniste).

Thanksgiving Mass in Vietnam of the First Four Vietnamese Rogationist Priests

The first four Vietnamese Rogationist priests celebrated their Thanksgiving Mass together in the Chapel of the Provincial House of the Sisters of the Holy Rosary in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam on October 24, 2018, highlighting the 15th year anniversary of the start of the Rogationist presence in Vietnam. The new priests are Fr. Joseph Hoang Xuan Huong RCJ, Fr. Peter Hoang Van Dong RCJ, Fr. Phan Hoang Nguyen RCJ and Fr. Nguyen Truong Thinh RCJ.

Seven Rogationist deacons were ordained priests by Bishop Elmer Jose Mangalinao of Bayongbong on October 20, 2018 at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Paranaque. The new priests come from Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. They are Fr. Jobert Belgica, Fr. Giovanni Gamaya, Fr. Peter Hoang Van Dong, Fr. Joseph Hoang Xuan Huong, Fr. Joseph Nguyen Truong Thinh, Fr. Joseph Phan Hoang Nguyen and Fr. Ferdinandus Heldi Tanga.

(Silang/October 19, 2018)– The 2ndProvincial Chapter of St. Matthew Province concluded today. The members spent the morning for the presentation and approval of the following matters: the proposed norms for the next Provincial Chapter, the revised statement of the 2nd Provincial Chapter, presentation of the priorities of the 3nd Provincial Chapter. After that, the assembly voted that the next Chapter in 2022 will be by representation, with 40% of the perpetually professed confreres of the Province participating. The plenary session ended with the concluding message of Fr.

Fr. Orville Cajigal RCJ has been elected on October 18, 2018 as new Provincial Superior of the Rogationist St. Matthew Province during the celebration of its 2nd Provincial Chapter held at the Oasis of Prayer in Silang, Cavite on October 18, 2018, presided by the Superior General Fr. Bruno Rampazzo. In the same setting, the Provincial Councilors and Treasurer were also elected, namely: Fr. Dexter Prudenciano, new Vicar Provincial and Councilor in charge of the Service of Charity and Missions; Fr.

PADRE ORVILLE è nato Quezon City, MM Filippine il 22 Marzo del 1977. Entrato nel Seminario di Manila nel 1993 e ordinato sacerdote nel 2006.
