un caro saluto e un forte abbraccio a tutti voi da parte mia e della Commissione organizzatrice del 1º Congresso del Laicato Rogazionista dell ´Area Ispanica della Provincia San Lucas (territorio che comprende Argentina e Paraguay) con l´invio degli inviti anche alle nazioni di lingua spagnola dove si trovano comunitá Rogazioniste o delle Figlie del Divino Zelo che non appartengono alla nostra Provincia (come Messico, Bolivia, Colombia, Spagna).

At the Sideia Mission Center in Papua New Guinea, on March 5, 2017, His Lordship Rolando Santos, CM, Bishop of the Diocese of Alotau-Sideia, installed Fr. Henry Ramos as the new Parish Priest of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish at the Sideia Island, Alotau, Milne Bay Province. With Fr. Ronaldo Victoria, who served the missions for more than a decade, leading the faithful in welcoming their new pastors, himself have turn over to Fr. Ramos this precious ministry he performed with selfless generosity for so long.

On March 6, 2017, Fr. John Joffer Lucas, the Superior of the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center, delivered a homily, during the Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior, emphasizing the scriptural lesson of constantly being mindful of responding to the needs of the littles ones. This teaching of Jesus from the day's liturgy, found fulfillment in the simple event of the blessing of the San Antonio de Padua Dental Clinic, whose primary mission is to provide for dental concerns of the indigent children from the nearby villages of Merville Park. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, the Major Superior of STQP, India spent few days in the community of Rogate Bhavan, Manathawady for his second canonical visit from March 2- 4, 2017. He was accompanied by Fr. Vinu Veluthepilly. The community received them with a warm welcome and the visit was very fruitful and Fr. Shajan appreciated the community for their organisation of the formative program and preparation of all the documents and records of the house.

Rogationist Academy, 1 March. 17, Aluva: The Rogationist Academy, Aluva celebrated its magnificent and reverberating Annual Day and Kindergarten Graduation Day on Saturday, February 25, 2017 amidst great zest, vibrance and elation. Mr. Askar Ameer, a famous cine and serial artist was the esteemed Chief Guest. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Abraham Francis, an associate professor in Social work and human services at James Cook University in Australia and Very Rev. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil RCJ, Provincial of the Congregation of the Rogationists.

Ogni giovedì di Quaresima la Radio Vaticana trasmette un programma, intitolato “la preghiera secondo Papa Francesco”, realizzato da P.Vito Magno mediante conversazioni con noti esperti: Angelo Comastri, Enzo Bianchi, Anna Maria Canopi, Aldo M.Valli. Chiara Amirante, Corrado Maggioni, Giuseppe De Virgilio. Le trasmissioni, in onda alle ore 7 e in replica alle 17,35, sono state pubblicate dalla Libreria Editrice Vaticana nel libro “L’arma migliore”, e firmate in prefazione del cardinale Luis Antonio Tagle.

Bruno Rampazzo, Superiore Generale, P. Josè Maria Ezpeleta, Vicario, Consigliere per la Vita Religiosa, formazione e Pastorale Vocazionale. P. Unny Pottokkaran, Consigliere per il Rogate, P. Matteo Sanavio, Consigliere per il Servizio della Carità e Missioni, P. Gilson L. Maia, Consigliere per il Laicato, Parrocchie e Pastorale Giovanile, P.
Rev. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, Major Superior of Indian Quasi Province and Rev. Fr. Shibu Kavunkal, Tresurer, Novice Master and Councilor in charge of Rogate visited our Srilankan Mission at Avissawella. Two days visit highlighted dialogue and sharing with confreres Frs. Varghese, Lixon and bro. Rinu and discussion with Bishop Cletus and his council on the proposal to take over St. Anthony’s Orphanage at Hewadiwala.
