Rogate Charity Center Aluva, 28 May 2017: The Rogate Charity Center conducted the gathering of the childern who received the first holy communion at Rogate Ashram. This gathering became meaningful when it is celebrated together with the feast of the father founder. Rev.Fr.Shajan Pazhayil RCJ,cordially extended the welcome to everyone.The event began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 10:00 am. Rev. Fr. After 40 years of apostolic presence and service in the Philippines, the Rogationists finally found home in Bicol. Upon invitation of the former Bishop of Daet, and now Archbishop of Lipa, Most Rev. Gilbert Garcera, DD, Fr. Herman Abcede, with the approval of the General Superior, promptly responded to the urgent need for a priest in the above-mentioned local church. On May 28, 2017, Fr. Julius Descartin was welcomed by the Quasi Parish of the Holy Family in Talobatib, Labo, Camarines Norte, as its new Administrator.

Rogate ashram Aluva, 25 May 2017: The Rogate Ashram community has got a new superior in this year. Rev. Fr. Shibu Kavungal RCJ has taken the responsibility as the superior of Rogate Ashram,  after his fruitful service in the novitiate as superior and novice master. The ceremony of the handing over of the superiorship, held in Rogate Ashram on 25 May 2017, was preceded by Rev. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil RCJ,  the major superior  in the presence of the former superior Rev. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly RCJ and the religious members of the community. Fr.

         Al Salone Internazionale del Libro, chiuso ieri a Torino, è stato presentato il recente libro di Padre Vito Magno, “L’arma migliore. La preghiera secondo Papa Francesco”. A parlarne, insieme all’autore, sono intervenuti Ernesto Olivero, fondatore del Sermig e don Giuseppe Costa, direttore della Libreria Editrice Vaticana.

In questi giorni P. Gioacchino Chiapperini, Economo Generale, e P. Matteo Sanavio, Consigliere Generale per le Missioni sono in visita presso le comunità rogazioniste del Camerun. Accolti presso il seminario di Edea giovedì scorso, hanno trascorso il fine settimana presso la comunità dello studentato di Ngoya, per poi dirigersi a Kitiwum, dove rimarranno qualche giorno, per coordinare gli aiuti riguardo al progetto relativo alla Giornata Missionaria Rogazionista del 2016.

Carissimi Confratelli rendo noto che domani 19 maggio, come da precedente comunicazione, verrà inaugurata la via dedicata a P. Giuseppe Marrazzo servo di Dio. È prevista un'inaugurazione con lo scoprimento della targa alle ore 18 presenti diverse autorità, breve presentazione della figura di P. Marrazzo a cura del Vicepostulatore e alle ore 18,30 celebrazione della S. Messa da parte del parroco Don Ermanno Pezzotta della Congregazione degli OMI, promotore dell'iniziativa insieme alla Circoscrizione comunale del Rione Gescal. Saranno presenti vari confratelli delle Case di Messina. P.

 The Rogationist Sideia Mission Station launched its Newsletter entitled "Sailau" on May 16, 2017 in commemoration of the 13^th anniversary of the canonization of St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia, Founder of the Rogationists and Daughters of Divine Zeal. “Sailau” is the local Sidea word for “sailing”. The Missionary Station chose it as title because people in the missionary center get in touch with each other by means of water transport. Hence, it is by sailing that the mission community also evangelizes the believers of the islands of the territory.

St.Thomas Quasi Province House Aluva, 16 May 2017: St.Thomas Quasi Province had a joyful celebration of the first profession of ten candidates, renewal of the vows of seven religious and entrance to Novitiate of twelve postulants. The ceremony held in Rogate Ashram was begun with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 10:00 am. The ceremony was presided by Rev. Fr. Shajan Pazhayil RCJ, the Major Superior with the presence of a good number of priests, religious and laity. Rev. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly RCJ, the rector of Rogate Ashram, welcomed everyone to the celebration.

16 maggio 2016 – Questa data ci ricorda la gioia grande che ha attraversato la Famiglia Rogazionista nel 2004, quando il Papa, san Giovanni Paolo II, ha canonizzato il nostro Fondatore. Nello stesso tempo in questo giorno ricordiamo la nascita della nostra Congregazione, nel Quartiere Avignone, con i primi tre giovani che nel 1897 facevano il loro ingresso in Noviziato. Per la nostra famiglia religiosa, inoltre, vi è in questo giorno, la commemorazione, più recente (2010), dell’inizio della Stazione Missionaria di Mina (Iloilo – Filippine).
