Quasi Provincia Indiana

The second day of the General Assembly began with Morning Prayer and Holy Mass followed. Fr Babu Muringayil presided over the concelebrated Holy Eucharist and gave a short reflection on the need to nurture our Faith. The session proper of the day began with the inspirational Reflection given by Fr. Jaison Vadakkan Capuchin.  He emphasized the importance of ‘growing faith and vibrant fraternal Joy’ in our religious communities as well as the prominence of ‘being over doing in religious houses. After a short break, the session continued with the reading of the Quasi Province Directory.

First Day, March 16, 2018

STQP organized two days (March 1 & 2) get-together of all the religious in Practical Training at Rogate Bhavan Manathavady Seminary. Councillor in charge of Formation together with Rogate Bhavan Community systematized two days encounter with Classes, Prayers, Sharing, Evaluation, games and small picnic. Fr.Saji Kappikuzhy gave a class on ‘Rogationist Community life’. Fr. Varghese shared his reflection on ‘PT and its implications in our religious life’, while Fr. Christy made his sharing on the ‘Glory and Beauty of priesthood’.

Rogationist Academy, blossoming school of STQP celebrated today (23/02/2018) it’s 2^nd Annual Day and the graduation of Kindergarten students at  Rogationist Academy Campus at 5.45pm.  In the delightful ambience, Bro. Albin Thoppil led the prayer song. Fr. Vinu Velutheppilly, RA Principal welcomed all the distinguished guests and  presented the RA annual report.  Emerging film star Mr. Kichu Tellus was the Chief Guest. Fr. Joby Kavugal, Major Superior presided over the function. Best child Actor and National Award winner Master Adish Praveen gave the words of inspiration.

St. Thomas Quasi Province is blessed to open our new mission endeavour, St. Anthony’s Boys Home at Hewadiwela, Srilanka on 30^th January, exactly on the vigil of GREAT SUPPLICA 2018. His Excellency Bishop Cletus Perera in a concelebrated holy Mass officially opened our new mission in his diocese of Ratnapura. The Celebration started with our children’s traditional welcoming of his Lordship Bp. Cletus, Vicar General Fr. Damian and Major Superior Fr.Joby Kavungal and other priests, sisters and friends who came from and wide.  Parish Priest Fr.
