(Dec. 9, Papua New Guinea) The two Primary Schools of the Rogationist Mission Center in Sideia had their respective Graduation ceremonies on Dec. 9, which marked the conclusion of the School Year 2020. St. Marry Primary School is located in Sideia, while St. Hannibal Primary School is located about an hour’s travel by motorboat from the Mission Center. A total of 27 pupils graduated. They attended the Thanksgiving Mass in the Church or chapel, presided by Fr. Welbert Suarez RCJ, followed by the graduation rites on the school grounds.

On December 7, 2020, the Rogationists and Daughters of Divine Zeal here in Vietnam started the joint-project of the annual Christmas caroling to the houses of some benefactors and friends in order to proclaim the spirit of Christmas as believers of the mystery of Incarnation. Through this simple gesture of singing, the sons and daughters of St. Hannibal are able to share the spirit of joy, love, hope, and peace in preparation for the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Tre consorelle Figlie del Divino Zelo vietnamite: Sr. Anna Bich, Sr. Maria Linh, e Sr. Teresa Tram, hanno rinnovato i voti annuali durante la Santa Messa nella solennità dell'Immacolata Concezione presieduta da P. Ryan Jimenez RCJ, nella cappella della comunità rogazionista a Saigon. Erano presenti alla celebrazione le formatrici delle FDZ, Sr. Alma e Sr. Elmie, formade delle FDZ, e preti, studenti religiosi e aspiranti rogazionisti residenti a Saigon.

The Office of the Provincial Superior has released an initial report on the collection and distribution of the calamity fund today, November 28, 2020. The collections were organized in response to the Protocol Letter 293/ 2020, calling all the Superiors and Confreres of the Rogationists in the St. Matthew Province to "raise support and assistance for the victims of the recent typhoons in the Philippines." Particularly hard-hit was our Parish in Labo, Camarines Norte.

The St. Matthew Province is set to celebrate the 25th Priestly Ordination Anniversary of Fr. Alfonso Flores, RCJ, Fr. Mariano Antonio Ranera, Jr., RCJ and Fr. Ariel Tecson, RCJ on December 16, 2020, with the Holy Mass at 11:00am at the chapel of the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center in Merville Park, Parañaque City.

1-12-2020 - Paranaque - Philippines - The Provincial Superior, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, made a presentation of the Mid-Term Report regarding the status of the St. Matthew Province last November 30 to December 1, 2020. The participants were the perpetually professed religious of the Province, through a Zoom Online Video Conference. During the online reporting, Rev. Tom June Lancin, RCJ served as the Moderator of the meeting and the exchanges in discussions, while Rev.
“Lord, to whom shall we go, You have the Words of eternal life.” (Jn. 6:68)
Today, 19th of November 2020, Rev. Petrus Marianus, RCJ was ordained as a priest, through the imposition of the hands of the Bishop of Maumere, Msgr. Edwaldus Martinus Sedu, Pr. The Ordination was held in the Seminari Rogationis – Ribang, Maumere, Indonesia at 9:00am. The event was attended by several priests and religious, and by the relatives of Fr. Petrus. A simple program was held during lunch time.

Taking advantage of the less stricter travel restrictions imposed due to the current pandemic, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, the Provincial Superior of the St. Matthew Province, did the Canonical Visit to the St. Anthony’s Boys Village in Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite, on November 5-7, 2020. The short visit which was highlighted by common prayers, was also a moment of dialogue and fraternal sharing. Fr. Cajigal also had the opportunity to physically meet the staff of the Boy Village, the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the Rogationist College, and to encounter the interns even online via Zoom.
