The Rogationist St. Thomas Quasi Province rejoices and give thanks to God for the first profession of seven novices and the entrance to the novitiate of 12 postulants. The celebration took place in the minor seminary, Rogate Bhavan Cheriyamkolly. The superior of the house, Fr. Sabu Pulimalayil extended a warm welcome to the Major Superior, Fr. Shajan Pazhayil, who recevied the vows. Fr. Devassy Pianadeth shared the reflection to the newly professed brothers.

"Friends of Fr. Joseph Aveni" -devotion to Mary. We should be devoted to the Holy Rosary. The most concrete form of this devotion is the perfect consecration to Mary… Pope John Paul II said that the Holy Rosary for him is a daily encounter with our Lady. The Holy Rosary is a very powerful weapon against evil. The Church encyclical “Marialis Cultus” calls the rosary the compendium of the entire Gospel. We can pray the Rosary in three ways: (1) By contemplating the mysteries, (2) by reflecting on the words of the Hail Mary, and (2) by looking at Mary.

16 maggio 2016 – Questa data ci ricorda la gioia grande che ha attraversato la Famiglia Rogazionista nel 2004, quando il Papa, san Giovanni Paolo II, ha canonizzato il nostro Fondatore. Nello stesso tempo in questo giorno ricordiamo la nascita della nostra Congregazione, nel Quartiere Avignone, con i primi tre giovani che nel 1897 facevano il loro ingresso in Noviziato. Per la nostra famiglia religiosa, inoltre, vi è in questo giorno, la commemorazione, più recente (2010), dell’inizio della Stazione Missionaria di Mina (Iloilo – Filippine).

L’Assemblea ordinaria dell’Associazione Missioni Rog Onlus è stata convocata lo scorso 23 aprile 2016, nella sede della Curia, per la revisione dell’elenco dei soci, e l’inserimento di nuove persone per rilevare quelle assenti o impossibilitate a partecipare alle riunioni. Attualmente il Consiglio Direttivo della Missioni Rog Onlus è composto da Carmelo Capizzi (Presidente), Martirizar Jessie (Segretario), Occhiogrosso Saverio (Tesoriere), Lipari Vito (Consigliere) e Pignatelli Riccardo (Consigliere).

La serata di venerdì 13 maggio, dopo una solenne santa messa e la processione per le vie della parrocchia, la statua del Cuore Immacolato di Maria, portata dagli Araldi del Vangelo, si congeda dalla Parrocchia di S. Antonio e S. Annibale a Piazza Asti.

Da lunedì 9 a venerdì 13 maggio 2016, la statua pellegrina del Cuore Immacolato di Maria, benedetta da san Giovanni Paolo II e portata dall'associazione "Araldi del Vangelo", sarà presente nelle case della Parrocchia dei SS. Antonio e Annibale Maria di Roma. Nel pomeriggio di lunedì l'arrivo della statua è stato salutato dalla comunità parrocchiale e dai numerosi ragazzi e bambini del catechismo.
