Il Papa ha indetto l’Anno di San Giuseppe (2020-8 dicembre-2021) nel 150° della proclamazione del Santo Patrono della Chiesa universale (Pio IX 8.12.1870). Questo speciale Anno ci aiuterà a conoscere ed amare sempre più il padre putativo di Gesù. Vivremo tante iniziative che sono in progettazione. Intanto abbiamo già iniziato a valorizzare il mercoledì, giorno della settimana dedicato a S. Giuseppe. Ogni mercoledì alle ore 20 preghiamo presso la Cappella del Santo il S. Rosario di S. Giuseppe.

12 dicembre 2020 - Quest'anno la Congregazione dei Padri Rogazionisti celebra con grande gioia il cinquantesimo anniversario della sua presenza nella nostra amata Città di Tarragona, era il 4 ottobre 1970, giorno in cui il Cardinale Benjamin de Arriba y Castro consegnò le chiavi del Santuario della Madonna di Loreto a P. Ernesto Butano. È un'occasione per ringraziare il Signore per i doni e le benedizioni che ci ha forgiato in questo lungo cammino fatto insieme a voi e a tanti nostri fratelli, amici, amici e benefattori che non sono più tra noi.

12.12.2020 – Attraverso un finanziamento dell’Ufficio Missionario Centrale à stato possibile attrezzare il nuovo seminario di Ribang, Maumere (Indonesia) di una nuova cucina, adeguatamente ristrutturata e attrazzata. Nel seminario in questo anno accademico vi sono 33 studenti di filosofia e 2 postulanti. P. Ferdinandus Heldi Tanga rcj, animatore vocazionale del Seminario, ha benedetto il locale, durante il Christmas Party della comunità, con i seminaristi in procinto di partire, l’indomani, per le vacanze natalizie.

(Dec. 9, Papua New Guinea) The two Primary Schools of the Rogationist Mission Center in Sideia had their respective Graduation ceremonies on Dec. 9, which marked the conclusion of the School Year 2020. St. Marry Primary School is located in Sideia, while St. Hannibal Primary School is located about an hour’s travel by motorboat from the Mission Center. A total of 27 pupils graduated. They attended the Thanksgiving Mass in the Church or chapel, presided by Fr. Welbert Suarez RCJ, followed by the graduation rites on the school grounds.

We learned today, in the afternoon of December 10, the sad news that the second floor of the House and Office of St. Hannibal Empowerment Center (SHEC) in Pasay (Philippines) was burned. It is an old building made of wood and light materials. There is no one hurt in the incident. The cause for the fire is still under investigation by the authorities.

During the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, Fr. Shajan Pazhayi has made a series of charcoal drawings of portraits of our beloved departed confreres starting with the one of the Servant of God Fr. Joseph Aveni on the occasion of his 10th death anniversary on July 24, 2020. Then, it was followed by the sketches of Bro. Giuseppe Balice, Fr. Cesare Bettoni, Fr. Antonio Barbangelo, Fr. Luigi Toffanin, Fr. Roy Moothedath, Fr. Filippo Puntrello, and Fr. Antonio Magazzù. The most recent one is the portrait of St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia.
